Step 10: Attach Motors to Bottom Motor Mounts 

At last, you can finally begin attaching things together. First, you will fasten the Motors to the 
Motor Mount Bottom. 

Tools Needed 

● #1 Philips Head Screwdriver 

Parts Needed 

● 4 – 1050 kV Brushless Motors w/ Extension Wires, prepared in Step 9 
● 4 – Motor Mount Bottom (#721-80005) 
● 16 – Machine Screw, M3-0.5 x 6mm (#710-00039) 

Instructions 

1. Feed the shaft of a Motor through the hole at the center of the Motor Mount Bottom, 

lining up the wires with the Motor mount plate. Hold in place. Note that the holes in the 
bottom of the motor will only line up with the holes in the mount plate in one 
configuration, so you may have to flip the mount plate over in order for everything to line 
up. 

 

 

 

2. One at a time, insert four screws into the innermost holes on the Motor Mount Bottom, 

making sure to line up with the threaded holes in the bottom of the Motor, and tighten 
with the screwdriver.
