A2.1 Troubleshooting Static IP Issues

To troubleshoot Static IP issues:

Open BabyWare.

Navigate to the

Programming

window

(see Configuring Server Settings on page 25).

Select the

Communication Settings

tab.

The Communication Settings tab opens.

Select the

IP/Static

radio button.

Locate the IP device:

Select the

Locate

icon .

The Located IP device on Network window opens.

Figure 3 – Locate IP Device on Network Window

Locate the IP address that matches the Default Gateway.

Confirm that the Port # matches the port number assigned in the router port forwarding.

Ensure that the router is correctly connected according to the router manufacturer instructions.

Configure IP/Static configurations for the HD77 camera:

Un-check the DHCP Enabled box in the TCP/IP pane of the Programming window (see

Figure

3.2

on page 20.

Locate the IP Device - see step 5 above.

Record the IP Address, Port, MAC address and Serial number values.

Select
