Settings
Before use, perform the initial setup of the unit.
Preparation
Turn on the TV, then select the appropriate AV
input to suit the connections to this unit.

this unit.

Follow the on-screen instructions to continue
with the settings.
• For details of the following settings, refer to
the each instructions.

Auto Setup will start automatically.
• If the clock setting screen appears, set the
time manually (

60, Clock).

Set Quick Start to “On”, “Off” or “Timer
Setting for Quick Start”, then press [OK].
When “Easy Setting has been completed.”
appears, Easy Setting is completed.
• Select “Yes” to proceed to Easy Network
Setting.
• Select “No” to finish the Easy Setting.

• If tuning is cancelled partway through, it may not be
possible to receive the channels. Restart setup again.
The tuner in this unit is compatible with digital
cable broadcast services or digital terrestrial
broadcast services. This unit can receive only one
of the two services at a time.
According to your environment, select TV Signal
Selection.
When selecting “Digital Cable Channels”
1 Select the channel number allocation, then
press [OK].
• Preset Channel Number
This setting is recommended for Germany
and Austria.
• Operator’s Channel Number ( LCN )
This setting is recommended for Switzerland.
2 Select “Start Auto Setup”, then press [OK].
• Scan Mode (Quick/Full)
• Frequency (Auto/Manual)
• Network ID (Auto/Manual)
• If “Auto” is selected, the multi preset frequencies and
Network ID will be automatically selected.
If there is the frequency and Network ID specified by your
cable provider, select “Manual” then enter it with number
buttons.
• Frequency and Network ID settings may be necessary
depending on the cable provider. For details, consult the
cable provider.
According to your environment, select Antenna
Setup.
When selecting “Single Cable System”
1 Select the “Single Cable Version”.
• Select the setting that matches the version of
your equipment. Check the Single Cable
Version setting in advance.
