Troubleshooting
[Checking Your USB Host Controllers ]
Select [Control Panel] → [System] to open the
Properties window and open the Device Manager
window by clicking on [Device Manager] on the
[Hardware] tab.
Click on the “+” left of “Universal Serial Bus
controllers”. (A list of USB controllers opens.)
• The USB controllers with the text “Host Controller”
are host controllers.
A USB bandwidth error warns that the host
controller does not have enough bandwidth.
• A USB 2.0 hub usually has one host controller,
therefore only one touch panel can be connected
to a USB 2.0 hub.

[Checking Host Controller Bandwidth]
You can check which host controller the touch panel is connected to.
Select [Control Panel] → [System] to open the Properties
window and open the Device Manager window by
clicking on [Device Manager] on the [Hardware] tab.
Click on the “+” left of “Universal Serial Bus controllers”.
(A list of USB controllers opens.)
Select a USB controller with the text “Host Controller”
and right click on it to open the Properties window.
Open the “Advanced” tab.
If a USB device by the name of “Panasonic Touch Panel Unit” appears in the “Advanced” tab, the touch panel
is connected to that host controller.
If a USB bandwidth error occurs, disconnect the USB cable connected to the touch panel, reconnect it, check
which host controller it is connected to and connect it to another host controller.
• After disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable, the host controller bandwidth indication does not update
until the “Refresh” button on the “Advanced” tab is clicked on.
