System Data Conversion

3.7.1

System Data Conversion

There are the following four types of KX-TD500 Maintenance Console software (ROM
version).

•

P981X (X: suffix, 'A' —) =

KX-TD500V1M

•

Q171XX (XX: suffix, 'AA' —) =

KX-TD500V2M

•

Q931XX (XX: suffix, 'AA'—) =

KX-TD500V3M

•

Q951XX (XX: suffix, 'AA'—) =

KX-TD500V4M

KX-TD500V4M is a functionally expanded version of KX-TD500V1M/V2M/V3M, and the
system data of these four software is not compatible to each other.
To solve this problem, KX-TD500V4M is equipped with

System Data Conversion

function.

This enables the system data downloaded from KX-TD500V1M/V2M/V3M to be uploaded to
KX-TD500V4M.
If you are using the KX-TD500V1M system, system data should be converted to KX-
TD500V2M system data beforehand. After that, KX-TD500V2M system data should be
converted to KX-TD500V4M system data.

Operation

1.

Download the system data of

KX-TD500V3M

and save it as a file.

(Please refer to Section "3.6.2

Download (from PBX to PC).")

2.

Start up the

KX-TD500V4M

.

3.

Point to "File" in the Main Menu and click.

The "File" drop-down menu is displayed.
