When a fax tone is heard:

When the other party answers your call:
Lift the handset and ask them to press their start
button. When the fax tone is heard, press
M START N .
Note:
R After pressing M START N , you can replace the
handset.
R To stop sending, see page 78.
R Do not open the document cover when sending a fax
with the automatic document feeder.

6.2 Storing items for the
one-touch dial feature and
phonebook
The unit provides the one-touch dial feature (6 items) and
phonebook (100 items).
R Station 1 and 2 can be used alternatively as
broadcast keys (page 42).
R Make sure that the M FAX N light is ON.
