Layout auxiliary functions
Auxiliary functions that can be used to configure layout have been added to the control software.
Layout grid
On a normal positioning screen, layout grid option is available. Click the [Grid Setup] button in the layout window to display the pop-up window
that allows setting of the horizontal and vertical grid size and angle of rotation. It is also possible to set an offset, but use the setting only for
advanced operation to generate grid patterns for absolute positioning.
Grid values within the pop-up window can be changed, and if the [Apply] button is click while [Enable Grid] is selected, all outputs on the layout
move to the newly set center position. When the setting of positioning is completed, click the [OK] button to close the pop-up window. To send
the new position information to this device, click the [Take All] button.
[Base Size]
Using the [Base Size] function, you can lay out multiple output devices in different sizes easily.
Set any number for a base output device (except for 0.00) to [Base Size] on the [Outputs] tab in the source area, and enter the size ratio for
the opposed output device to [Relative Size] on the [Add Output] screen. With this operation, you can adjust the image size to fit the one
displayed on another output device.
[Actual Size] for the output device should not exceed the resolution of the output device.
This is set to 0.00 by default and the [Base Size] function is disabled.
To use multiple output devices with the same size, the [Base Size] function is not required.
For example, when the size of the base output device is 3 m (9'10") and the resolution is 1 920 x 1 080, the image with 1 280 x 720 is
upscaled to 1 920 x 1 080 if the output device of 2 m (6'7") is laid out.
[Projector Alignment]
The layout grid can be used when the edge blending on a projector is set. In such a case, the space between the grid lines should be narrower
than the resolution of the projector so that the output is to be overlapped on the layout.
