Basic Operations — Preparing the control computer

Login to the control software
1) Enter the user name and the password on the login screen.

Enter [User name] and [Password].
2) Click the [Login] button.

When the saved data selection screen is displayed, proceed to Step
3)

If the selection screen is not displayed, the setting data saved on the device is loaded. It takes some time to load the setting data.
3) Select the saved data.
[Use unit data]
Uses the setting data saved on the device.
[Use local data]
Uses the setting data saved on the control computer.
Select the setting data to use from the drop-down list, and click [OK].
4) Log into the control software.

The control software starts, and the [Layouts] page will be displayed.

page 43) for details on how to use the control software.

If you use the setting data saved on the device, it takes some time to load the setting data. Therefore it takes for a while to make the
software operation available. You can reduce the time to load the data by saving the setting data in the control computer as local data, and
selecting that data when logging in.
For methods of saving data in a computer, refer to “Closing the control software” (

page 42).

To operate the control software in offline mode (the state where the device is not connected), click [Work Offline] on the login screen. When
selecting the setting data to use from the drop-down list and clicking [OK], the [Canvases] page is displayed.
