1. ASSEMBLY
Fitting the Front Handle
1. Using the provided 5mm hex key, unscrew the
socket head screw from the front handle and side
grip.
2. Place the front handle on the handle bracket
located on the shaft.
3. Insert the socket head screw through the front
handle and the handle bracket. Screw the side grip
onto the protruding end of the socket head screw
to tighten.
Note:
If necessary you can adjust the position of
the front handle by loosening the side grip, tighten the side grip to lock in place.
Fitting the Safety Guard
1. Using the provided 5mm hex key, unscrew the socket head
screw from the safety guard.
2. Push the safety guard onto the recess on the rear of the
gear housing as far as it will go and screw it securely in
place with the previously removed socket head screw.
Note: The knife edge blade on the underside of the safety
guard automatically cuts the line to the optimum length.
3. Remove the sticker from the knife edge blade before using
the line spool.
WARNING! ENSURE THE TOOL IS OFF AND THE BATTERIES REMOVED
BEFORE PERFORMING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS.
WARNING! TAKE CARE NOT TO CUT YOURSELF ON THE KNIFE EDGE
BLADE.
