If there are any connections or splices in the link, enter them into

the input boxes.

ypical fiber networks will have 2 connections – one

for a patch panel located at each end of the link.

Splices

- some connectors use mechanical splice technology for

termination. If the link under test is terminated with these “no-polish, no-
epoxy” type connectors, they should be considered as mechanical splices.

Once the number of connections and splices have been entered,

click Next to continue.

Select the company name from the drop-down list. If it is not listed,

click the New Organization button.
