Any use of the stainless steel distributor/
collector “Multidis SFQ” outside the above
applications will be considered as non-
compliant and misuse.
Claims of any kind against the manufacturer
and/or his authorised representatives, due to
damages caused by incorrect use cannot be
accepted.
The observance of the operating instructions is
part of the compliance terms.
2.3 Foreseeable misuse
Constructive measures are not sufficient to
exclude misuse.
The following must therefore be avoided:
• Mixing up of supply and return.
•
Operation with aggressive fluids (e.g.
steam or oil).
2.4
Modifications to the product
Modifications to the product are not allowed.
In case of modifications to the product, the
warranty will become void. The manufacturer
will not accept liability for damages and
malfunctions caused by modifications to the
product.
2.5 Warnings
Each warning contains the following elements:
Warning symbol
SIGNAL WORD
Type and source of danger!
Possible consequences if the danger
occurs and the warning is ignored.

The signal words define the seriousness of the
danger which arises from a situation.
NOTICE
Indicates a situation which may lead to
damage to property if not avoided.
2.6 Safety notes
Even though this product is manufactured in
accordance with the latest technical status
and is fail-safe, there might still be a residual
danger for persons and property.
2.6.1 Danger in case of inadequate
personnel qualification
Any work on the product must only be carried
out by qualified tradesmen.
Sanitary, heating and air-conditioning
specialist
Due to professional training, knowledge
and experience as well as knowledge of
the relevant standards and regulations, the
sanitary, heating and air-conditioning specialist
is in a position to carry out any work on
heating and potable water installations and to
recognize possible dangers.
2.6.2 Risk of injury from pressurised
components

Before starting work, make sure that the
system is depressurised.
f
The permissible operating pressures must
be observed during operation.
2.6.3 Risk of scalding due to an
uncontrolled escape of hot fluids
f
Before starting work on the surface
heating/cooling or potable water
circuit, make sure that the system is
depressurised.
f
After all work has been completed, check
the product for tightness.
f
Wear safety goggles.
2.6.4 Risk of burns due to hot
components and surfaces
f
Before starting work let the product cool
down.
f
Wear protective clothing to avoid
unprotected contact with hot system
components.
