Connecting the Print controller
Warning the print controller power supply must be set to 220 Volt !

Check and connect host interface, parallel or Cat5.

Connect the display panel cable.

Connect the video interface cable.
(e)
Connect the provided power cable to the print controller.
Handling Precautions
z
Turn off the power and the circuit breaker before installing or removing
printer cable.
z
Turn off the circuit breaker located at the back of the printer if it will be
unused for long time.
z
Do not use the printer on carpet. It may happen that the printer cannot
operate normally by cotton fiber and static electricity.
z
Do not operate the printer near heating source, dusty location, and direct
sunlight.
z
Do not place the printer on any unstable surface.
z
Do not put the printer near combustibles.
z
Install the printer in a well air-conditioned room.
z
Do not spill liquid in the printer.
z
Do not touch the OPC drum surface as it is easily damaged.
z
When you drop something into the printer, turn off the power and
the circuit breaker. Then remove the object or call a service engineer.
z
Be sure to close all covers during printing.
z
When performing engineering checks must use extreme caution not to let
your clothing hair or hand be caught in the rotary mechanisms.
z
Do not obstruct the ventilation slot at the front and rear of the
printer. Excessive temperature rise in the printer may cause abnormal printer
operation.
z
Do not touch the high voltage power supply, DC power supply, flash
Power supply, Xenon lamp, the cover glass of the fusing unit.
z
Do not leave the paper loaded for a long time, when printing job of the day
ends, remove paper from the printer.
z
If the fusing unit needs to be removed after printer operation, do not touch its
metal portions until the fusing unit cools sufficiently.
z
Do not bring metal substances near the developing roller assembly or place
the developing unit on the floor.
z
Be sure that the AC input voltage matches the applied AC voltage Otherwise
the printer may cause equipment malfunction or personal injury.
