Installing the OPC drum

CAUTION

Never touch the surface of the drum.

Since the life of the drum will be shortened by exposure to ambient air and light,
mount the drum as quickly as possible.

When mounting the drum, align the slit of the drum with the pin of the drum shaft
and gently push in the drum.

In order to prevent damaging of the drum, confirm that the transfer elevator is at the
“Down” position and that the notch part of the shaft is horizontal.

Step 9.

Open the front cover (upper).

Step 10.

Open the waste toner unit.

Step 11.

Loosen the thumb screws (3 pcs.) and remove the drum plate.
