In the sagittal plane, the vertical component
of the ground reaction force runs 60 mm
(±17 mm) anterior to the ankle, 15 mm
(±17 mm) anterior to the knee joint pivot
point according to Nietert and 2 mm (±16 mm)
posterior to the Trochanter Major.
In the frontal plane, the vertical component
of the ground reaction force runs 16 mm
(±9 mm) laterally from the centre of the
ankle and 16 mm (±11 mm) laterally from
the centre of the knee.
