Getting in from the front
CAUTION
Exposed pinch points
Pinching, crushing of fingers
► Ensure that your fingers are not in the danger area
when flipping the footrests up or down.
1) Place the seat in the horizontal position.
2) Fold up the footplates (see Fig. 9).
To gain a larger entry and exit area, flip the footrests to
the side (see Fig. 10).
INFORMATION: Removing the footrests increases
the entry or exit area.
3) Have an attendant assist you or use a transfer lifter to
get into and out of the power wheelchair.
4) Flip the footrest down or reinstall it and flip it down (see
Page 18).
5) Fasten the lap belt when necessary (e.g., when driving
on the road).
