PREPARATION AND SETUP

SHIPPING CONFIGURATION

The majority of the 

Vertical Fold Tillage Toolbar

 is assembled at Orthman Mfg., Inc. The 

Vertical Fold Tillage Toolbar

 is assembled in an appropriate ship-

ping configuration to ensure transport safety and efficiency from the manufacturer.

Wing Lock Pin

The 

Vertical Fold Tillage Toolbar

 may ship folded or unfolded, depending on configurations.  If the toolbar ships unfolded (shown picture above) it will 

most likely have the rigid wing lock pins installed.  These pins will need to be removed prior to folding the toolbar. (see pg. 4 - 1)

The 

Vertical Fold Tillage Toolbar 

will also come from the factory without the safety lights, or the SMV installed, due to the potential for damage to those 

items during shipment.  These items will also need to be installed prior to use or transport of the 

Vertical Fold Tillage Toolbar.
