Specifying  disc  drives 

Some  instructions  contain  (source  drive)  and  (target  drive).  The  drive 
(number)  being  read  from  is  the  source  and  the  drive  (number)  being 
written  to  is  the  target.  If you  do  not  specify a  drive  number  where  the 
instruction  requires  one,  the  system  will  allocate  the  default  drive.

Information  messages 

From  time to time,  messages  are  generated  by the  system and  displayed, 
to  keep  you  informed  of  what  is  happening.  These  messages  are  self 
explanatory  e.g.  Formatting
