Storing the pressure cooker
After washing and drying the cooker with a cloth, store it without closing it. Place the lid on upside down so
that the seal is exposed to the open air and can dry completely.
Seal
Clean the seal while you are washing the lid, but without removing it from its housing. After prolonged use
this seal should be replaced to avoid steam escaping from the pressure cooker and to ensure its continual
working order.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
When it takes a long time to come to the boil:

The source of heat is not hot enough

Turn up the source of heat to maximum
During cooking, no steam is escaping from the heavy valve:

Hold your pressure cooker under cold running water to release the pressure.

Open the cooker.

Clean the heavy valve and the safety valve.
When the steam escapes from all around the lid, check:

Whether the lid is properly closed.
-
Whether the sealing ring is properly fitted.
-
The condition of the sealing ring (if necessary, change it)
-
Cleanness of the lid, the safety valve and the pressure regulator valve.

That the rim of the cooker is in good order.
When the lid cannot be opened:

If necessary, cool the pressure cooker off under cold running water.
When the food being cooked is burned is either not fully cooked or overcooked, check:
