IMPORTANT! OPEN THE DOOR FULLY AND ‘LOCK’ IN TO THE PLASTIC RETAINING CLIP
AGAINST THE TRAILER. DO NOT USE THE DOOR AS AN AID FOR ENTERING OR EXITING
AS THIS COULD EVENTUALLY COMPROMISE THE DOOR SEAL.
11.
At this point, especially if this is your first time at opening the Camper please note how the
interior has been packed away to enable the lids of the Camper to be closed ready for transit and
storage. It may be useful for you to take a photograph of the packed down interior to help ensure
you get the OPUS
®
packed down correctly and efficiently.
TENT TENSIONING
IMPORTANT! PLEASE ENSURE THE DOOR AND WINDOWS ARE CLOSED BEFORE
TENSIONING THE TENT.
1.
Enter the OPUS
®
and lift up, through 90° hoop pole 4 (Page 4. No.23) towards the front of the
Camper. The base of the pole is retained by brackets on the worktop that allows the pole to pivot
into position.
2.
Secure the top of the pole to the canvas using two wrap-around hook and loop velcro tabs.
3.
Release the pole clamps, one on each side by lifting up the lever.
4.
Extend each side of the pole incrementally, switching sides with each increment to allow for
smooth and even extension of the pole.
The apex of the pole’s hoop should line up with the centre of the central seam of the tent roof
when extended. This step can be done with both sides extended simultaneously if two or more
people are setting up the Camper.
Finally secure the pole with the two side wrap-around hook and loop velcro tabs.
5.
If you haven’t done so already lift the gas hob unit and the sink unit onto the kitchen base
platform to clear floor space. (Page3. No.2&4)
