9 PUNCHING
You can use MasterPress 02 to cut out patterns by placing O.Matrix Base MP 02 (in
O.Master Frame MP 02) for protection, and placing under the material to be cut a
O.cuttingBLADE PAD (ask your device supplier about the cutting dies and pads).
• For safety, switch off the heater or lower the heater temperature.
• Place the material to be processed on the pad, position the cutting die on the
material, slide the set centrally under the heater.
• Set the stamping force (power) (proper value should be determined experimentally
- it depends on the thickness and density of the material, on the shape and
condition of the cutting die).
• Lower the lever of the device (in two steps).
• After making the cut, you may repeat it, if necessary.
• Remove the cut outer and inner pieces from the cutting die.
NOTE
As the slider travel distance during pressing is short, it is often necessary to repeat
the cycle.
NOTE
Always use the special pad under the cutting die during punching.
NOTE: During stamping operation the lever may recoil with great force! Always hold
the lever (from above) until stamping is finished!
10 TROUBLESHOOTING AND CONTROL PANEL ERRORS
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDY
Display does not light up. - Plug not connected to mains
socket.
- No power in the mains
socket.
- Device failure. - Plug the power cord to the
mains socket.
- Plug the device into another
mains socket.
- Contact the supplier.
The expected temperature
is not reached or
is significantly exceeded.
- Check the temperature
setting.
- Device failure. - Set proper temperature.
- Contact the supplier.
Some areas of the
stamping are not gilded. - Temperature too low.
- Stamping time too short.
- Insufficient pressure.
- Foil not appropriate for the
stamped material.
- Increase temperature setting.
- Increase stamping time.
- Set proper stamping force
(power).
- Use proper foil.
