4.2 Base
Refer to Fig 2. The "
王
" shaped base has reliable stability. When the operation arm extends to
the maximum limit location, the entire instrument will not overturn. The base has a universal
caster system so that the microscope can move conveniently on the floor. If the instrument
location is determined, it is necessary to lock the Base Locking knob (6), fix instrument on the
floor for preventing the instrument from moving in operation. When moving the instrument,
the Base Locking knob (6) should be loosened prior to pushing.
4.3 Mainframe and electrical box
Refer to Fig.2. The electronic-control box (10) and main stand (11) construct overall
electronic-controlled hub and pillar. On the face plates of electronic-control box (10) is set a
switch (13) for illumination with cold light source. On the electronic box (10) is set the
brightness regulation knob (14) for continuous regulation of brightness of cold light source.
Device (9) is the fuse cover, there are some fuses inside. Unloading the fuse cover can replace
fuse conveniently. Additionally, the main stand and electronic-box also contain footstep
control socket (8), main power switch (12) and handgrip (32). All electronic control circuit
system is arranged inside the pillar part (see Section 10). Loosen 12 screws at two sides of the
pillar, take out faceplate and loop system together, in order to do maintenance work.
Before operation, the first thing is to turn on the main power switch (12), then turn on the
switch of light source (13), tune the brightness regulation knob (14) for a proper brightness of
light source.
4.4 Transvarsal arm
Refer to Fig.2. The transversal arm (30) with a locking knob (31) on it is installed on the upper
part of stand (11), which can spin around pillar angle
≮
200°. There are two lamp-sockets (30),
inside the transversal arm. The back one is a spare lamp socket, both of them can be taken out
from the top of the transversal arm in order to fast replace new lamp. (Detailed contents see
