VTDVR5100 Digital Video Recorder

When using Disk Farm

The following description is when eDVR has internal primary disk and 3 sets of IEEE1394 HDD.

(1)

When external HDD farm is connected to IEEE1394 port, “Disk Manager” runs automatically. If not,

run it manually in “Menu

Utility

Disk Manager”.

(2)

Select a second HDD of [F] Ext. Press the “Apply” button after selecting action as “Add”. Then [F]

is changed to [R].

<Note>

If connecting the device that is used in eDVR, type will be indicated as [V].

(3)

Select a third HDD of [F] Ext. Press the “Apply” button after selecting action as “Add”. Then [F] is

changed to [R].

(4)

Select a fourth HDD of [F] Ext. Press the “Apply” button after selecting action as “Add”. Then [F] is

changed to [R].

(5)

Press the [EXIT] button to shut down “Disk Manager”.
