24. During operation the hair straightener becomes hot. Do not
place it near flammable materials.
25. Allow the hair straightener to cool before putting it away.
Allow to cool before storing.
26. Do not use the appliance with a voltage converter.
27. Do not direct hot air toward eyes, hands or other heat-
sensitive areas.
28. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug grasp the
plug.
29. Risks exist even if the hair straightener is switched off.
Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet
immediately after using and before cleaning.
30. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance (risk of breaking
the cord).
31. Do not cover the hair straightener as it might cause heat
accumulating inside of it.
32. In case of handing over the appliance to another person
please inform that person about these instructions for use.
33. Attachments may be hot during and after use. Allow them
to cool before handling.
34. Do not use attachments that are not recommended.
35. Always unplug the hair straightener from the electrical
outlet after use.
36. If the hair straightener is used in the bathroom, always
unplug it from the electrical outlet after use, as it may pose
a risk even when the appliance is switched off.
37. For additional safety it is recommended to install an RCD
device in the electric circuit supplying the sockets with
a maximum rated residual current of 30mA. For more
information please consult a qualified electrician.

The «satin ion» technology produces a rich stream of satin ions
that hug every single hair. The ions calm hair, reducing frizz
and static to reveal your hair’s natural beauty and shine.
When activating the «satin ion» button (5), a stream of ions
surrounds your hair. The display shows «satin ions» and

a slight crackling noise can be heard.
Microprocessor supported styling
Thanks to its highly sophisticated microprocessor and its LCD
control display, the straightener allows you to personalise your
settings.
•. Individual temperature choice: Using the temperature
selection buttons (3), you can adjust the temperature
in 10°C steps in a range between 130°C and 220°C. We
recommend the following temperature settings.

The higher the temperature setting, the faster you will get .
a sleek straightening result. When working with the maximum
temperature setting, you should not treat the same strand more
than once.
•. . Express heat up time: After only 30 seconds, the appliance
is ready for use.
•. . °C max booster: For handling difficult hair strands, you can
instantly boost the temperature by pushing the «°C max»
button (4). For 20 seconds, the appliance will heat up to
the maximum temperature with the backlight flashing.
Afterwards, the appliance switches back to the previously
selected temperature.
•. . Safety auto off: For safety reasons, the appliance
automatically switches off after 30 minutes. Five minutes
prior to switching off, the display shows «Auto off» along
with a red/green flashing backlight. If you want to keep on
straightening, simply press the «on/off» button (6) again
shortly.
•. . Memory function: In order to make your styling session as
convenient and quick as possible, the appliance stores your
last personalised settings for the next usage.
Getting started
• Connect the appliance to an electrical outlet and push the .
«on/off» button (6) for 2 second to turn it on.
• During heat-up, the display turns red. The appliance is
delivered with a default temperature setting of 180°C. The
thermometer symbol is flashing as long as the displayed
temperature is not reached.
• After approx. 30 seconds, the display turns green indicating
that the minimum styling temperature is reached. You can
start using the appliance.
• As soon as the preset temperature is reached, the
thermometer symbol stops flashing.
