4.18. Clearing Paper Jams

Scanner access:
1.

Turn the latch counterclockwise to release the scanner cover. The scanner

cover will swing to the open position (Figure 4-28).

Figure 4-28: Access Scanner

Clear any jammed paper or debris in this area.

To close the scanner cover, hold onto the latch and gently pull the cover

closed.

When the cover reaches the closed position, rotate the latch clockwise until

the lock latches into place.

NOTICE

Slamming the scanner cover down can damage the image sensors.
