Cleaning and care
Cleaning of the surface
Risk of electric shock! Please separate the
extractor hood from the power supply
network by pulling the plug or the
disconnection of the fuse. Please pay
attention to the fact that no water seeps into
the appliance during the cleaning process.
Untimely cleaning of the surface saves later
a troublesome removing of stubborn
soiling.
For the cleaning use only
commercial detergent or all-purpose
cleaners which are suitable for stainless
steel / aluminium.
Please do not use
scouring agents or steel wool!
After the
cleaning of the extractor hood please tend
the stainless steel surfaces with a high-
grade steel-care product.
Only with a light soapy water and a very soft
cloth varnished surfaces have to be
cleaned. Please clean the switch panel only
with a soft and damp-dry cloth.
By extractor hoods with a pane beneath the
metal grease filter (“Perimeter Extraction”)
fatty deposits can occur on the edge of the
pane.
These deposits are founded
physically and represent no dysfunction of
the extractor hood.
Please clean the pane
beneath the filter regularly to prevent
stubborn soiling.
Membrane keypad
The hood is operated using a foil covered
keyboard, which is installed flush into the
hood body.
Turning the Blower ON and OFF (1)
Press button 1 to turn on the blower.
To turn off the blower at any level, press
button 1 twice.
Exhaust Power (4+5)
The exhaust power is controlled by
pressing arrow buttons 4 or 5 multiple
times. The individual levels, however, must
be switched to sequentially. 12 different
power levels can be selected.
Faster Blower Operation: Press button 5.
Slower Blower Operation: Press button 4.
Automatic Cooling Period (1)
Press button 1 to turn on the automatic
cooling period. The extractor hood switches
back one level every 5 minutes from the
current level and switches after a maximum
of 15 minutes. finally off.
Turn on Illumination (6)
To switch the LED lighting ON or OFF, press
the membrane key 6. Optionally, the lighting
can be dimmed by pressing it again. To
increase the brightness again, press and
hold the membrane key 6 again.
Light heat change (1)
If the light is already switched on, TW 2700-
6500K is controlled by pressing and
holding the ON / OFF button 1.
Note: The color change function is
deactivated when the grease filter display
is active and is only available again after
the grease filter has been reset !
Clean Filter Alert (3)
After a maximum of 15 operating hours of
operation, the red LED on the keyboard will
begin to light up . This alerts you that the
grease filter must be cleaned. After cleaning
the grease filter, press buttons 4 + 5 at
the same time until the red LED turns off.
The operating hour meter is now reset.
