The
Add New Event
window (for specifying generic events) lets you specify the settings for an event based on input
from external sources using the TCP and UDP protocols: You are able to specify the criteria according to which
NetDVR should analyze received TCP and/or UDP data packages, and whether any notifications should be triggered
when the event occurs.
Tip:
TCP and UDP packages used for generic events may contain special characters, such as @, #, +, å, ~, etc.
within the text string to be analyzed.
