Replacing the XANTO RT 1000’s internal battery:
1.) Remove the UPS unit’s front panel.
2.) Unscrew and remove the two screws in the metal cover.
3.) Remove the metal cover.
4.) Release the connector between the battery and the UPS.
5.) Pull the battery forwards to remove it.
6.) Now you can replace the battery. Make sure you only use
batteries of the same type. Connect all 3 blocks in series.
To do this, connect the positive terminal of the first battery
to the negative terminal of the next one (and so on) in or-
der to generate a 36V DC current.
7.) Now follow the above disassembly procedure in reverse to
reassemble the battery compartment.
10.3 Replacing the output fuse
The XANTO RT 3000 is the only model with an output fuse.
This protects the output sockets against impermissibly high
current. The terminal output is not fused.
1.) Open the fuse holder on the back of the UPS by turning it
in an anticlockwise direction.
2.) Remove the faulty fuse and replace it with one of the
same type.
3.) Close the fuse holder by turning it in a clockwise direction.
