The “LINE” , “INVERTER” and “LOAD/BATTERY-CAPACITY”
LEDs will light up to indicate that the UPS is functioning cor-
rectly.
Test that the UPS system is operating correctly. To do this,
disconnect the input of the UPS system from the supply by
tripping the building wiring fuse.
CAUTION:
The UPS features a self-start function. If active,
the inverter will start automatically as soon as the
battery has been fully discharged and after the
return of the input voltage. The self-start function
can be deactivated by DataWatch-Software.
9.2.2 Cold start (power failure)
If no input voltage is present, the UPS can also be started
independently via the battery. Press the ON-button until you
hear an audible signal (approx. 1–2 secs.). This will switch the
inverter on and the UPS will operate in
battery mode.
CAUTION:
The output sockets of the UPS system may still
be electrically live even if the mains supply has
been disconnected or the mains cable has been
disconnected.
