Commissioning redundant/parallel operation

Additional settings must not be made

This chapter discusses the the main features of the parallel
operation and additionally refers to the

Commissioning

section

1. Connect the load (consumers) to the UPS systems without

switching on the load.

2. If there is a maintenance switch installed, switch this to UPS

mode now.

4. Switch the power supply on. Switch the input switches MAIN 1

and MAIN 2 on the rear side of each of the UPS systems to
the "ON" position.

The LCD display on the front covers of the UPS systems lights
up and displays the ONLINE logo.

3. Check whether the UPS systems are in the bypass mode

(see

Operating states

4. Press the

button on one of the UPS systems for at least

one second. All UPS systems switch to normal mode.

5. If the display of one of the UPS systems displays active warning/

error messages, rectify these problems before you proceed with
commissioning the system (see

Troubleshooting

6. Check whether the UPS systems generate the same output

voltage. The output voltages may deviate by a maximum of
0.5 V. Otherwise, make the appropriate setting (see

Settings

menu

7. Switch on the output switches of the UPS systems and then

switch on the main output switch. The UPS systems are now
working in redundant/parallel mode.

8. Switch the load on and check whether the connected load is

supplied.
