4.15 Flashing the Netburner
This method allows you to reload the existing program or update with a new program.
How to Update the SNMP / Net Burner on Windows OS
1. Connect Ethernet Cable to Laptop
2. Connect the Other end of Ethernet cable to expansion unit
3. Plug in one power cord to the power supply (do not turn ON the unit); you would need a standby power for the SNMP /Net Burner.
4. Set the IPv4 IP address to 192.168.1.20 (Check Instructions on how to set static IP address on IPv4).
5. Launch the AutoUpdate.exe by "double clicking" the AutoUpdate.exe
6. Click FIND button, select Device, and then click OK.
7. Check the Reboot box.
8. Click on "Browse", select the OSSExpressIOManager_1_9_4_APP.s19, and then click “Open”.
9. Click update
10. Login Authentication screen will come up, enter User Name : default and Password : OSS
11. Click OK, to initiate programming.
12. When done programming / updating, “Message Prompt” will come up "Programming completed without error"
13. Click OK
14. Click X to close the AutoUpdate.exe
15. Launch Internet Explorer and type in the system IP address 192.168.1.10 and press enter.
Enter User Name: default
Enter Password: OSS
16. Refresh the browser page, the configuration page will come up, go to drop down box and select PE16RR-RAS2 4U 2XPSU and Click
the Go button
17. SNMP Web GUI will come up, on the upper right hand of the web you'll see the updated version "Express I/O Manager 1.9.4
Instructions and Photos
1. Connect Ethernet Cable to Laptop. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to RJ45 of the expansion unit.
2. Plug in one power cord to the power supply if the unit is completely turned OFF. You need a standby power for the SNMP /Net
Burner. If the unit is already turned ON and running, leave it as is.
3. Set the IPv4 IP address to 192.168.1.20
