Host Communications
I/O Terminals
I/O terminals can be used to input read triggers and to output confirmation of reading (NG).
This section describes the connection method for terminals. Refer to
for the communications modes used to communicate with the host and the
communications settings.
Wiring Methods
Wire a cable to the enclosed connector and insert the connector into the Controller.
The pin layout on the Controller is shown below. Wire only the required terminals.
Do not input the RESET signal immediately after turning ON the power supply. When using the
RESET signal to synchronize startup timing, wait for at least 1 second after turning ON the power
supply to the Controller before turning ON the RESET signal.
For the COMIN terminal, use a DC power supply with safe extra-low-voltage circuits on the second-
ary side.
If UL recognition is required for the overall system, use a UL class II power supply.

0.14 to 1.5 mm
