The following conditions force a transition to an error state.
• An invalid process always-TRUE

Reset

signal

• An invalid always-TRUE

ProcessControl

signal

• Programming error that results in incorrect interconnections between

ProcessControl

and

Reset



Operation for Errors

• If an error occurs, the

S_OutControl

output changes to FALSE and the safe state is maintained.

• To leave the Reset, Init, or Lock error states, you must set the

Reset

input to FALSE. To leave the

Control Error state, you must set the

ProcessControl

input to FALSE.

• After

S_SafeControl

changes to TRUE, you can change the

Reset

input to TRUE to reset the

optional startup inhibit. Or, after the FB is started, you can change the

Reset

input to TRUE to

reset the optional startup inhibit.


