• Undetected changes to TRUE in the

input are detected. Errors are detected with the guard

switch.

• An error is detected when safety is compromised. Either the guard was opened or unlocked.



Operation for Errors

• When an error occurs, the

S_GuardLocked

and

S_UnlockGuard

outputs are set to FALSE, the

DiagCode

output gives the relevant error code, and the

Error

output is set to TRUE.

• An error must be acknowledged by changing the

Reset

input to TRUE.


