4 Safety Function Blocks

NX-series Safety Control Unit Instructions Reference Manual (Z931)



Error Detected

The FB detects the following errors.
•

DiscTimeEntry

is set to less than T#0s or more than T#4s.

•

MaxMutingTime

is set to less than T#0s or more than T#10min.

• The discrepancy time for the sensor pair (

S_MutingSwitch11

and

S_MutingSwitch12

) exceeded

the set value.

• Muting (

S_MutingActive

= TRUE) exceeded

MaxMutingTime

(maximum muting time).

• The muting sensors (S_

MutingSwitch11

and

S_MutingSwitch12

) operated in an incorrect order.

• A muting sequence started without being enabled by

MutingEnable

• A muting sensor signal that is always TRUE was detected.
• A muting lamp failure was indicated (

S_MutingLamp

= FALSE).

• An undetected change to TRUE in the

Reset

input was detected in the Init state or the Wait for

Reset state.



Operation for Errors

• When an error occurs, the

S_AOPD_Out

and

S_MutingActive

outputs are set to FALSE. The

DiagCode

output gives the relevant error code and the

Error

output is set to TRUE.

• Operation is not restarted until the error is reset and the operator acknowledges the safe state

with

Reset


