advance) and to include the difference in weight when determining the mass
of the dust collected.
OTHER POSSIBILITIES
The procedure described above for conditioning and weighing the
CIP10
cups was specially studied by the INRS.
Some variants are proposed for other laboratories, in particular in countries
where the climatic conditions are different from those in France (rapid varia-
tions of temperature and humidity or rudimentary equipment).
These variants in particular involve weighing closed cups with their cover
after drying the foams in a dry atmosphere (a desiccator for example) or using
a bench for their rapid equal liberation with the atmosphere. Finally if prob-
lems continue to be encountered implementing the procedure described,
consult the INRS or the manufacturer for any potential adjustment to it.
