During sampling, the rotation speed is kept constant by the control circuit. If the
charge on the battery is insufficient, the CIP10 stops when the voltage goes
below a certain threshold. With a fully charged battery that does not normally
happen until after 40 hours of operation. This point can also be checked in the
laboratory to see the condition of the batteries by allowing the instrument to run
until it stops.
MAINTENANCE
The CIP10 (or CIP10 M ) does not require any other specific maintenance
except for cleaning after sampling, replacement of used foam, and recharging
the batteries
The risks of failure are low and involve almost nothing except wear of the
motor and the batteries after a long period of use (several thousand hours of
operation). Returning the instrument to the manufacturer for standard
exchange of these elements when they go out of service, and to verify and
adjust the flow rate is recommended. If this operation is done by the user, be
sure to respect the polarities. The rotating cup effectively acts as a centrifugal
fan, with a well-defined rotation direction relative to the air outlet slit.
SERVICE AFTER SALE
The equipment to be repaired or maintained must be carefully cleaned and
decontaminated of any dangerous substances (a certificate of decontamina-
tion may be required) and sent to the following address:

The packaging must protect against any damage that could occur during
shipping.
