FRONT PANEL INTERFACE
Note:
It is not necessary to use a crossover cable to connect directly between the VOCO 8 and a PC. The
Ethernet ports will automatically detect a standard or crossover cable.
Configuring the “AES67” IP address
If you plan to use the AoIP features of the VOCO 8, you will need to configure the “AES67” IP address—or at the
very least disable DHCP to eliminate the error message if you don’t plan to use AoIP. From the “More…” menu,
navigate to “AES67 IP”. As with the “Control IP”, turn DHCP on or off as necessary, change the hostname, IP
address, subnet mask, gateway address, DNS servers, and broadcast address as appropriate. Continue scrolling
to the “Display Only” section of the menu to verify the settings. All other AoIP settings are performed within the
“Remote Gateway” software.
