Safety requirements during maintenance and repairs
Prior to any work, disconnect the supply by disconnecting the two power cables. Keep the power cables away
so that no authorised connection to the machine can be established. Maintenance and repairs can be
performed only by personnel holding the appropriate qualifications.

During maintenance and repairs, the machine must be disconnected and separated from any source of
energy and secured against accidental activation, e.g. by connecting power cables. The cables shall be
secured as well;
2.
For maintenance, use only instruments and tools intended for that purpose;
3.
During maintenance and repairs, the user is responsible for using only spare parts supplied by the
manufacturer or manufactured according to the manufacturer’s specifications;
4.
Secure the maintenance or repair zone properly by placing visible markings;
5.
Use only tools with electric insulation;
6.
Cleaning with flammable agents is forbidden. Take measures to provide protection from toxic vapours
produced by cleaning fluids;
7.
Keep the space clean during maintenance and repairs;
8.
Prior to restarting the machine after repair or prolonged idle period, check the protective
functions of the machine;
9.
Protect bearings, movable parts and electrical components from moisture during
maintenance or repairs;
10.
Operating staff must be informed about the intention to perform an inspection or
maintenance in due time in advance.
