Broken or excessively worn blades must be replaced.

The lack of one or more blades can cause a rapid deterioration of the
rotor and cause vibrations.
Any disrepair must be rectified immediately otherwise the safety
conditions of the operator and the machine may be placed in jeopardy.
Make a daily check of the state of wear of the blades.
Clean them often when the vegetation is damp.
For the replacement of the blades it will be necessary:
a. To lift the machine by means of the 3 point attachment of the tractor;
b. To support the machine on props or security blocks to prevent a possible
collapse of the lifting mechanism.
c. Replace the worn blade(s) and fix with nut and using a torque key.
d. It is advised, in order to retain a perfect balance of the rotor, to replace
the diametrically opposite blade also.
