Adjusting the sampling time
The sampling time must be adjusted so that it is not saturated in excess of the maximum
value of the spectral light intensity that can be acquired. The procedure for automatically
adjusting the sampling time is described below. Arrange the reference first to enter the
measurement state. Then, select [Measure] - [Sampling adjust] from the file menu and
display a START INTERVAL window. Enter the expected sampling time, for example,
"1000," and press the OK button. The sampling time is automatically adjusted to the range in
which the spectral light intensity is sufficient and not saturated. After adjustment is
completed, a display screen appears. Press the OK button to complete the adjustment of the
sampling time.
Executing
background
measurement
Press the BACKGROUND1 button to execute background measurement for acquiring the
spectral light intensity of a dark current caused by scattered light or electrical noises.
Executing
reference
measurement
Press the REFERENCE button to execute reference measurement for acquiring the spectral
light intensity of the reference.
Sets the theoretical spectral reflection
factor (transmission factor) of the
reference used; for more details, see the
[6.2.1 [Reference] setting] .
Sets the specification value for deciding
the acceptability of the measured
spectral measured values; for this
setting, see the [6.2.2 [Standard]
setting].
Set when displaying a chromaticity
diagram from the spectral measured
values.
Sets the average wavelength range
when calculating the average
reflection/transmission factor.
