Chapter 5 Menu operations and functions
„ Delete image
Images can be deleted from a USB flash drive for recording images.
CAUTION
• If the USB Flash Drive is removed during the image deletion process, the data in the USB
Flash Drive may be destroyed. Never attempt to remove the USB Flash Drive while deleting
images.
Deleting images in the thumbnail screen

In the thumbnail screen, tilt the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick to select
the image to be deleted by moving the thumbnail selection frame.
To delete multiple images, mark the images you want to delete in the following procedure.
(1) Select the images to delete with the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
(2) Press the [BRT

] button to mark the selected images.

” is displayed.
(3) Repeat steps (1) and (2) to mark all the images to delete.
(4) If you mark an image that you do not want to delete, press the [BRTp] button again
while the image is selected to remove the mark.
(5) Press the [BRT
T
] button to mark all the thumbnail images.
(6) You can clear the mark from marked images by pressing the [BRT T ] button.

After selecting the image you want to delete, press the [MENU/EXIT]
button to display the menu.
