Chapter 3 Preparation and inspection before observation

When a live screen is displayed (4-mm, 6-mm and LX only)

If an optical adapter is attached while a live screen is displayed, the
system will recognize the optical adapter type automatically and
display its name.

NOTE

•

For the stereo optical adapter, the optical adapter confirmation screen or the initial stereo
adapter settings screen is displayed (see "Checking the stereo optical adapter" (page 105) ).

Make sure that the name of the optical adapter is correct.

The on-screen optical adapter name will disappear when the optical
adapter is removed.
