EXTERNAL TRIGGERING
}The DP30BW can input or output an external trigger signal to record still images or control a commercially available
shutter.
Connecting the BNC triggering cable
1. Turn off the PC.
2. When using the external trigger input, connect the BNC cable’s connector
³ to connector @ by aligning the groove on the former connector with the
pin on the latter connector and turning the former connector to lock them.
3. When using the trigger output from the DP30BW, connect the BNC cable
to connector ².
Operation using the trigger input
· The trigger signal input from an external device can be used to trigger recording of still images using the DP-BSW basic
software.
· The trigger input should be a positive logic signal and its positive-going edge is detected. (Pulse duration: 5 ms or more)
The trigger input is not compatible with random triggering. Due to the time lag of 200 ms to 1 sec after the trigger input,
it is not possible to synchronize the external trigger input and start of exposure completely.
· The trigger input is TTL compatible.
