MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the Dustproof Glass in the Camera Head
1. Remove the camera head from the TV adapter. Keep the interface cable
connected and confirm that the clamping screws of the connector are
tightened.
2. Start the DP Controller. This will release the built-in shutter and expose
the dustproof glass.
3. Using a commercially available blower @ blow dust away from the
dustproof glass. In doing this, do not let the blower nozzle enter the C-
mount ² but keep a clearance between them.
# Be careful not to let the blower nozzle penetrate inside the C-mount.
Otherwise, if an accidental power cord disconnection or computer
shutdown occurs, the power supply to the camera head may be
shut down causing the shutter to be closed and destroyed.
# Do not use a tool other than a blower, such as a spray or air
compressor. Otherwise, attaching of oil contained in the sprayed
air or too strong window may cause the shutter to be destroyed.
