When using a commercially available tripod
Connecting the Interface Cable
}The DP-TRAD tripod adapter is provided with two types of screws (2 each)
and an Allen wrench. Use only the Phillips screws (x 2) with the DP30BW.
1. Insert the Philips screws ² into the DP-TRAD tripod adapter @ and, without
tilting the tripod adapter, place it in position in the insertion slot ³.
2. Tighten the Philips screws ² by inserting a Phillips screwdriver through the
guide holes |.
3. Insert the tripod clamping screw into the tripod screw hole ƒ and tighten
the screw.
# Prepare a tripod that can withstand the camera head (approx.
2.7 kg). Make sure that the legs of the tripod are fully extended.
# Be sure to turn off the PC before proceeding.
Connect the connector @ on the other end of the interface cable that is
already connected to the PC to the connector ² on the camera head
and tighten the connector’s lock screws ³. Check that the interface cable
will not slip out.
# Lay the interface cable out away from heat-generating sections such
as the lamp housing of the microscope.
