SETTING THE NUMBER OF PAGES

If you want, you can set the number of pages that form the document. In this way, the document
received will be numbered at the top in the following format: 01/nn, 02/nn, 03/nn, ......nn/nn where
"nn" represents the total number of pages that make up the document.

The facsimile machine will automatically check the number of pages sent:

-

when sending a document from the memory: after the document has been stored, if the
number of pages set does not correspond to the number of pages stored, the machine beeps
and the document is automatically cleared from the memory.

-

when sending a document from the ADF: after the document has been sent, if the number
of pages set does not correspond to the number of pages sent, the machine beeps, the error
LED lights up and, if the relevant set-up parameter has been enabled, an error report will be
printed.

In either case, the message "INCORRECT PAGE COUNT" will appear on the display.
