Lift the handset to engage the line or press the

To confirm your choice.

to find the telephone number or name of the
correspondent you wish to call on the list of the last 20
incoming calls or on the list of the last 10 outgoing calls. For
incoming calls, the fax machine will only show the calls you
haven’t answered.
To start dialling.
Once the number has been dialled, if the correspondent is
free, you can start talking.

CONVERSATION
As mentioned previously, you can transfer a telephone call
from your fax machine to an additional telephone and vice
versa providing that it is connected to the fax machine (for
example, a “cordless” phone) or is an extension connected
to a telephone system with more than one socket set in
series.
To transfer a call from the fax machine to an addi-
tional telephone
Press the
/
key during the conversation. The
display shows:
MUTE
Then lower the handset. The display shows:
CALL TRANSFER
The additional telephone will ring for about 30 seconds. If
the handset of the additional telephone is not lifted in time,
the fax machine will take the call back and ring for about 20
seconds. At this point, if the handset of the fax machine is not
lifted in time, the call will be terminated.
To transfer a call from the additional telephone to
the fax machine
Press the
*
and
0
keys during the conversation and then
lower the handset.
The fax machine will ring for about 30 seconds. If the hand-
set of the fax machine is not lifted in time, the additional
telephone will take the call back and ring for about 20 sec-
onds. At this point, if the handset of the additional telephone
is not lifted in time, the call will be terminated.
