5. Check that the circulation pumps are working and carry out the relay test.

Do not continue and start the heat pump compressor if the
buffer tank temperature is below 20° C.
6. Switch on the compressor over-current protection fuse F1 . When using a two-
compressor model, also turn on switch
F2
.
7. Press
Reset
, and then press
OK
.
Compressor 1 should start after the circulation pump prerun time (40 seconds).
Compressor 2 starts after a set delay. You can change the compressor 2
delay on operating lines 2862 and 2863. If needed, delays can be set to zero
during commissioning phase. Then the compressor 2 starts simultaneously with
compressor 1.
Check the correct running direction of the compressor.
Observe the sound of the compressor. If the sound is
exceptionally loud, switch off the compressor immediately.
If the 3-phase power cable is connected in wrong order, the system displays an
error on the screen and the compressor stops. In such case, turn off main switch
Q1 and switch off the power from the main electrical switchboard. Correct the 3-
phase power cable order, and turn on main switch Q1 again.
8. Fill in the commissioning part of the maintenance sheets.
Once the installation and commissioning are complete, fill in the
installation and warranty reports.
3.4. Testing relay
You can check the connection and functioning of each device connected to a relay
output with a relay test.
1. Change to commissioning user level.
a. To access the menu system, press
OK
.
b. Press the
Information (i)
button for 5 seconds, select the
Commissioning
user
level and press OK .
2. Select Input/output test and press OK .
3. Select
7700: Relay test
and select the device you want to test.
For example to test a ground circuit pump, select
Relay output QX12
, or to test
a condenser pump, select
Relay output QX13
.
You can use the ground circuit pump also with the S2 by-pass switch.
4. Once the devices have been tested, change the value of the operating line 7700
back to
No test
. If you do not set the value back to
No test
, the heat pump remains
in relay-test mode, and will not start.
