Operation
5.1
IMPORTANT:
Under normal conditions, a suitable heat pump can heat the water in a
swimming pool by +1 to +2 °C per day. It is therefore quite normal to not
feel any temperature diff erence in the system instantly, even when the
heat pump is working.
A heated pool must be covered to avoid any heat loss.
For the proper operation of the heat pump, the ambient air temperature should
be between -5 and 43 °C.
Preliminary remarks
• Make sure the unit is fi rmly secured and stable.
• Make sure the pressure gauge indicates a pressure of more than 0,6 MPa.
• Make sure all electrical wiring is faultless and properly connected to the relevant
terminals.
• Check the earth connection.
• Make sure the hydraulic connections have been tightened properly and there are no
leaks.
• Make sure the water in the heat pump is circulating properly and the fl ow rate is
adequate.
• Remove all foreign objects and tools from around the heat pump.
Use
1. Activate the power supply protection of the equipment
(circuit breaker and diff erential switch).
2. Activate the circulation pump unless it is servo-controlled.
3. Check the bypass opening and control valves.
4. Activate the heat pump by pressing
once.
5. Set the clock of the remote control (section 4.7)
6. Select the desired temperature via one of the operating modes of the remote control
(section 4.2)
7. The compressor of the heat pump will start shortly after that. All you have to do now is
wait until the target temperature is reached.
