CHAPTER 6 - Use and Operation
6.10.2 ENGINE START UP
Before starting the internal combustion engine,
Carefully read the engine manufacturer's instructions manual
Open the petrol cock
Put the air control lever in the start position (only if the engine is cold) by pushing it to the left
Start the engine by turning the suitable ignition key, alternatively start it by pulling the suitable pull rope
Note: The engine only starts if the machine is pressurised.
- Move the air control lever to the work position by pushing it to the right.
- Accelerate the engine with the suitable lever until the machine reaches the operating pressure.
Do not exceed the maximum operating pressure 8BAR 113 P.S.I. checking it on the pressure gauge located on the machine .
6.10.3 STROKE END STOP
When the rRaingun trolley reaches its stroke end, it actuates the lever and the gearbox goes into neutral and at the same time
the closing valve is controlled (if the machine is fi tted with it). When the valve is closed the pressure switch fi tted on the
supply pipe picks up the no pressure signal and turns off the engine.
